CCD cleaning

While preparing the prints for the Café Boost show, I spent a lot of time cleaning up dust in the images. I've had my D100 for more than a year now and I've never cleaned it. Today I finally took the plunge:

Before.

After.

Phew! It's about time I did that. It's a lot easier than I thought it would be. After reading Nicholas R's detailed instructions, I just strapped a Pec Pad onto a plastic spatula (cut to size) and went for it. So, don't be afraid of it -- just get the right tools and be careful.
